Valentine's Day

H is geeked out about Valentine's Day. She loves all the crafts, anything red or pink, and so looking forward to her party at school. It is the first thing she talks about when she wakes up in the morning! E says, "Im not giving any Valentines and I am keeping all the candy." H tried to explain that Valentine's Day was about "giving" not "keeping" but E didn't care. I told Matt about it after work, and he said that was what Christmas was about anyways. Hmmm...I guess the apple...you know the rest.

Here was our afternoon Valentine's Day craft. Recycling broken crayons. Bake at 250, let cool. Super easy and took a while. H was good at peeling the paper off, and E was GREAT at breaking crayons into smaller chunks and a couple of other household items, too. Happy, happy kids.
